Raised on a family owned, dryland farm in the Panhandle of Oklahoma taught me many life lessons. Hard work, commitment, and honesty were the mainstay of our everyday lives. In a small community, everyone plays a part in the survival of farms and businesses.

My career of 45 years started in agricultural animal products and ended in city government. In between I was the Business Manager for Aims Community College, the Weld County Treasurer, the City of Fort Lupton Finance Director, and retired as the City Administrator for Fort Lupton. The knowledge attained in all these positions has given me understanding of infrastructure and water needs for a community to grow successfully. During my time as City Administrator my team was responsible for bringing many businesses and opportunities to the community.

Currently I am a City Councilman for Ward 2 in Fort Lupton. This gives me the opportunity to assist the community in its needs for present growth and future challenges. I believe it's important to have a good working relationship with the Fort Lupton Police Department and Fire District, as well as the Fort Lupton School District. We are blessed to live in a city with such a diversity of residents and businesses.
